Volunteering opportunities

Supported Work Programme

We are recruiting specifically for our new Supported Work programme, where volunteers will accompany a young person to and from their work placement, and help them to manage their duties during the time they are at work.

An AFK young person learning real work

This placement will take place each week at a set time and day, so volunteers need to be able to commit to a minimum of three hours regularly. The journey to work will start and end at Ability House and will either be done on public transport or on foot.  Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
