AFK Student Forum: Response to Lord Freud

Lord Freud, welfare reform minister, recently made remarks regarding workers with disabilities and paying them (£2 per hour) below the national minimum wage, which currently stands at £6.50 for those over the age of 21 and £5.13 for those 18-20 over.

Giulia, our student forum co-ordinator gave her views on these comments. Giulia herself has a learning disability and expressed her point of view, from her first hand perspective.

London Duathlon

London Duathlon

Action For Kids would like to say a big thank you to Devonshires solicitors’ Martin Parfitt, Nicki Thompson, Anne-Maree Matthews & Carolyn Thomas who all took part in the 59Km London Duathlon on Sunday 14th September, and Aaron Ball who took part in the 107km Ultra London Duathlon, which has helped raise more than £2,000 for Action For Kids!
