We would like to say a big thank you to everyone at Sainsbury's Muswell Hill for all their help and support. They hold regular bag-packing and charity collection days for Action For Kids. The staff volunteer at the charity and are more than happy to welcome our young people into the store for visits and fundraising projects. Read all about our latest work experience day here.

GamesAid is the UK video games industry based charity. They distribute funds to a diverse range of charities as a means of giving something back on behalf of the industry. Action For Kids is grateful for the funding and support they have provided since 2009. The efforts of their members have made a real difference to the independence and wellbeing of children all over the country.

We were recently delighted to find out that we had been selected as one of GamesAid's charity partners once again and we were presented with an enormous £36,000 donation by Stuart Dinsey, chair of the GamesAid trustees. We cant thank everyone there enough for choosing to continue to support us - this sort of funding will have an amazing impact on the future independence and wellbeing of disabled children and young people all around the country.

Thornton's Budgens of Crouch End

Action For Kids works closely with Thornton's Budgens of Crouch End in a number of ways. The "Pennies for Plastic Appeal", donates 1p for every bag not used at the store to Action For Kids and the store provides work experience placements and administration tasks for the disabled young people on our work related learning programme.

Andrew Thornton, Manager and Owner of Thornton's Budgens of Crouch End says "We are thrilled to be involved with Action For Kids as they play such a vital role in the community here in Crouch End. It’s also great that we can use the team to help with our local direct mail campaign, rather than giving the work to a commercial organisation."

Burson Marsteller

Burson Marsteller is proudly supporting Action For Kids during their charity week, through a range of activities, volunteering and lending their skills to the charity. All the money raised will hopefully go to buy a trike for one of the children in great need of Action For Kids' support.

Huge thanks to Stephen James Enfield for buying a special car seat for 6 year old Kai from Surrey. Kai, who has dystonic cerebral palsy, was growing out of his previous car seat. Fundraisers at the BMW and MINI Dealer raised nearly £2,000 to purchase the specialised car seat.  “Kai is absolutely thrilled with his new car seat,” Amy says. “We are extremely grateful to the team at Stephen James Enfield and Action For Kids for the brilliant new car seat!”Kai receives a new car seat courtesy of Stephen James BMW Mini
